This tour is designed just for the glimpse of the most interesting and great view that can be done in the shortest period, i.e. Lhasa with its Potala Palace and Jokhang Temple. During the one hour flight from Kathmandu to Lhasa in Tibet, you will enjoy the stunning views of Himalayan range. Just getting in touch with Tibetan culture and tradition is another blend where one can indulge into the great view of the Potala Palace without any fail.

The very short but the sweet memory of Tibet will keep you smiling and sometimes a really adventure at the height of Lhasa (3650 m / 11975 ft). However, the bravery feeling will keep you relaxed and the traditional food, if you taste, will make you different but wonderful experience.

  • Day 01
    Arrival at Lhasa (3650 m)

    In the morning, you will fly from Kathmandu to Lhasa, one hour scenic flight over mountains. Our Tibetan guide will provide you a warm welcome by at Lhasa Gonggar Airport. A transfer of 2 hours bring you to your Tibetan style Hotel in Lhasa. The afternoon is free for acclimatization.

  • Day 02
    Lhasa

    After Breakfast you will enjoy the sightseeing of the Jokhang Temple, which is most revered shrine in all of Tibet and is constantly bustling with devout worshippers. You will also have the opportunity to make some shopping in a Tibetan crowded city center called Barkor. In the afternoon you will visit the Sera Monastery, a fifteenth century sprawl of golden roofs and whitewashed walls. This well preserved monastery is located in the outskirts north of Lhasa and is the home to several hundred monks. You will enjoy the famous debating activities happening at 3 to 4pm quite regularly every day at the Sera monastery.

  • Day 03
    Lhasa

    A trip to Tibet would not be complete without experiencing the vital Potala Palace. This palace is Lhasa’s cardinal landmark and is a wonder of Eastern architecture. Your first site of this massive structure will be a magical moment remembered for years to come. It has been a palace since the fifth or sixth century and was once home to the Dalai Lama. This truly amazing day will ended with a visit to the Drepung Monastery. Once the world’s largest monastery, housing 10,000 monks, Drepung monastery lies hidden in rocky ridges just beyond the city of Lhasa. Surprisingly much of the building was left untouched throughout hundreds of years.

    Departure / Arrival Kathmandu

    Drive to airport for flight back to Kathmandu.

    Welcome upon arrival and transfer to hotel.
